Thats a clip from Curtis own words.Curtis has been working as a Bartender on Frenchmen Street since the days of it’s inception.When only Locals Knew of it’s existence and very few Tourists even cared about it.He is also a Talented Artist that has to his Credit 2 album covers that he personally designed for the New Orleans Jazz Vipers.The firast 2 cds from that band and he has collaborated on Many other Musicians artwork.He is also a Producer of Film works and Has won a Few awards for his Productions.Not to mention he is one of the Finest Bartenders in Town!You can find him most nights on Frenchmen Street either at the Spotted Cat or the Apple Barrel.

Hi Curtis,
Hope you are well and that the Louisiana’sautumnal sunshine is bright and warm. Do you remember me? I came to interview you almost four years ago. Now that i finally found a great opportunity to edit and put together five episodes of the life of Louis Armstrong in such a great country as the US, you are one of the protagonists. And I thank you for that.
So here’s the main info about it. It’s going to be a 20 minute long show-episode (once a day) broadcasting every day from 12.40 to 1PM on RTS-Espace 2 (french-swiss cultural radio station) from the 29th of October to the 2d of November. The show is called Magma hosted by Yves Bron. I took the parts of our interview that talks about New Orleans and Frenchmen Street.
This is finally it. You must be sure that the playlist has also been an excellent job for me as a music programmer who does not know much about jazz. Thank you again, you will hear a few episodes that are very consistent with the comments of Jack & Nancy Bradley, Peggy Alexander UCLA, Dan Morgenstern RUTGERS, Bruce Raeburn TULANE, Michael Cogswell CUNY HOUSE MUSEUM of LOUIS ARMSTRONG, yourself and also Martha Washington from the Meyers ACE Hardware Store (the Old Sunset Cafe) in Chicago.
